I am a self-taught artist, based in London.  In April 2022, I found some art materials clearing out my Dad's house - oil paints and surfaces - and I produced my first oil painting.  I liked the result, really enjoyed the process and I have not looked back since.  I paint nearly every day and hope to never stop.  I paint whatever comes into my head or falls from the brush, as I like to say.  I hardly ever sit down to paint with a firm plan in mind and will generally follow the paint when an image appears to me.  I have developed my technique since that first painting, trying lots of different styles and learning from every painting.  More recently, I have begun to specialise with painting animals - I love getting into their character and bringing it out into the painting and have received a few commissions for pet portraits, which has been great.  Check out the pet portraits in the gallery.
